Pay Attention To Photo Editing

What's this blog post about? Ford? Chevrolet? Using the right photo? My son Mason, who loves Shelby GTs?

Make sure your photos make sense with the content of your post. If you’re publishing a post about Cadillacs, don’t put a photo of a Ford with it. Seems like a no-brainer, but you’d be surprised what I see out there.

Art direction and picture editing are highly skilled professions that take a lot of years to learn and to be excellent at. They aren’t something that just anyone can do. And done poorly, they have a huge impact on a publication, destroying credibility and authority. The devil truly is in the details.
